Connect your Facebook and Twitter accounts to join the SMD mobile community to make comments! You can view our latest tweets, Facebook wall posts, blog posts, random thoughts, and even watch tutorials all right from our app! We’ll also be doing some special giveaways and discounts that can only be seen from within our app so what are you waiting for?  It has a lighter footprint than your currently converter app that you never use so you really have no excuse.

Next month marks two years since we started building custom Showit websites for photographers. We have logged well over 5000 hours in Showit, and have launched over 50 custom websites on the platform with 20 more coming up in the next few months. We are without a doubt, blessed to be serving our peers, and are truly thankful for everyone that has put their trust in us to take care of their online presence.

We have some exciting projects to share with you guys coming up in the next few weeks that will help boost your business’ online presence to another level. One of these includes expanding our mobile design service to offer more options, with quicker turn-around times. We’ll also be introducing a new service that will offer custom iPad photography websites. Sign up for our newsletter to be the first to hear about these special projects when they are announced. OK one more juicy tidbit; on one of these projects, we teamed up with one of the worlds top 10 photographers to bring you something uber special and unique. That’s all we can give you but we guarantee it will be worth the wait.

Now for the more “official” announcement; you may have noticed that some things have changed around here.  Well, last weekend we rolled out our new website and brand. It was long overdue, and months in the making.  You see, we pride ourselves in building websites that are personalized and tailored to fit, yet our old site was plain and boring. After a lot of thought, sweat, and deliberation our new presence was born. We decided to put the focus back on the company name and echo that theme throughout. After all; a true creatives websites should be creative…right?

We launched Amanda’s online presence last year. Yesterday we received this email from her, and thought we’d share if with you all.

“I just got back from a client meeting and had to share this with you… The mother of the bride is a self-proclaimed “Google researcher” and said that she found my site via Google. She said she had looked at dozens of photographers and that my site “blew those others out of water”. She said it stood out and she was very impressed. I told her how much I appreciated such a great compliment, and I have no doubt whatsoever that my website was a leading factor in why they wanted to meet (AND BOOK) me!! They wrote me a check on the spot for my highest package and made me promise to send her your information I wanted to pass along the kind words to you and tell you thank you once again!!!! It’s such an awesome testament to your talent! ”
